Premium Tea – Better Taste, Better Benefits
Posted by admin on September 2nd, 2009 filed in Tea
I've always been a coffee drinker. Each morning when I'd wake up I would brew a pot of coffee to drink a cup while I got prepared for work, and I would take another serving in a to go cup for the drive.
Thru out the day I would have coffee at my desk. I had repeated this pattern for twenty-five years, and then I discovered premium tea. I had attempted tea numerous times, but never found it as gratifying to drink as coffee. One of my co-workers started drinking a tea mix that had a fabulous smell. He claimed that he was given the premium tea as a present from his girl. This herbal tea was a loose mix that he placed in a tea leaf ball to steep. He offered to steep me a cup to try. I knew by the point that I finished that cup of tea that I was hooked. My colleague found out what store his girl had purchased the tea from.

It was a little specialty shop I had driven by before, but had not gone into. I stopped at the store on my way home from work. I was surprised to find that as well as premium tea, they also sold many gizmos and accessories for the heavy tea drinker. I explained to the sales clerk that I've always been a coffee drinker and this was my first time buying specialty tea.
I informed the clerk I had used tea bags during the past I had acquired in the grocery store. She explained that premium tea did also come in tea bags and there are numerous grades. Some of the premium tea is regarded as gourmet, and is designed to compliment specific foods. Almost all of the types of premium tea can be made into iced tea, but there are certain blends that are better than others. I spotted one display that was off on it's own. The clerk explained that these were all medical teas. This line of herbal tea is sold to help ease certain infirmities. I couldn't believe the selection of herbs and tea leaves that made up this section of the store. The clerk informed me that many folks swear by the healing power of a good premium tea. She said that she uses the medicinal teas to treat cold and influenza symptoms.
She likes that she doesn't experience any side effects when using the medical tea. I purchased a range of premium tea to make at home and work. I got a special variety to give as a gift to my coworker as a way of thanking her for introducint me to how wonderful tea is.
